The lineup for the 2026 FIFA World Cup is now complete, with 48 teams confirmed for the biggest edition in tournament history.
Set to be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the competition will feature an expanded format and more global representation than ever before.
Final qualification spots were decided during the March international break, with European playoffs delivering surprises as Bosnia and Herzegovina knocked out Italy, while Turkey, Sweden, and the Czech Republic also secured their places.
In the intercontinental playoffs, Democratic Republic of the Congo edged Jamaica 1-0, while Iraq defeated Bolivia 2-1 to claim the final tickets.
The 48 teams have been drawn into 12 groups:
Group A: Mexico, South Africa, South Korea, Czech Republic
Group B: Canada, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Qatar, Switzerland
Group C: Brazil, Morocco, Haiti, Scotland
Group D: USA, Paraguay, Australia, Turkiye
Group E: Germany, Curacao, Ivory Coast, Ecuador
Group F: Netherlands, Japan, Sweden, Tunisia
Group G: Belgium, Egypt, Iran, New Zealand
Group H: Spain, Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay
Group I: France, Senegal, Iraq, Norway
Group J: Argentina, Algeria, Austria, Jordan
Group K: Portugal, Congo DR, Uzbekistan, Colombia
Group L: England, Croatia, Ghana, Panama
The tournament will run from June 11 to July 19, 2026, kicking off in Mexico City with the opening match between Mexico and South Africa.
