Former AC Milan manager Vincenzo Montella has described Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen as an “emotional leader” for the team rather than a technical one.
Montella added that Juventus could hold a major advantage if they come up against a Galatasaray side without a fully fit Osimhen in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 playoff.
Osimhen recently missed Galatasaray’s Turkish Super Lig match against Konyaspor due to a knee injury but has been included in the squad for Wednesday night’s clash with Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.
“Osimhen is more of an emotional leader than a technical one for Galatasaray,” Montella told TuttoSport, according to Futboo.
“He shifts the balance significantly; he is a player who changes the very face of the team. If Galatasaray cannot play him, it will undoubtedly be a massive advantage for Juve.”
