President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially commissioned the new Corporate Headquarters of the Nigerian Revenue Service (NRS) in Abuja, describing the project as a significant step towards strengthening the country’s revenue administration.
The commissioning ceremony, held on Tuesday, marks the formal inauguration of the multi-tower complex designed to enhance operational efficiency and boost the capacity of the agency to deliver on its mandate.
The newly completed headquarters comprises three towers with 16 floors and is expected to accommodate about 3,000 employees, providing a centralised and modern workspace for the Service.
The project is seen as part of broader efforts by the Federal Government to improve revenue generation, streamline operations, and strengthen public sector institutions critical to economic growth.
Officials say the facility will support better coordination, improved service delivery, and increased efficiency in revenue collection processes, in line with ongoing fiscal and economic reforms.
The commissioning also reflects the administration’s commitment to building strong institutions that can drive sustainable development and support Nigeria’s long-term economic objectives.
