A new Sector Commander, Victory Kayode-Oni, has assumed leadership of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Benue Sector Command.
The command’s Public Education and Protocol Officer, Grace Ahula, made the disclosure in a statement on Tuesday in Makurdi.
Ahula said that Kayode-Oni took over command following the redeployment of Corps Commander Kehinde Dahunsi to Oyo Sector Command to serve in the same capacity.
The spokesperson stated that Kayode-Oni was expected to consolidate on existing achievements while strengthening road safety operations, enhancing public enlightenment campaigns, and deepening stakeholder engagement.
She described Dahunsi’s tenure in Benue as impactful, marked by dedication, professionalism, and notable contributions to road safety administration across the state.
Ahula reassured the public of the corp’s commitment to safer roads through effective leadership and strategic initiatives aimed at reducing traffic crashes and improving compliance with road safety regulations.
She urged members of the public to continue supporting the corps’ efforts to create a safer motoring environment for all road users.
