Voting commenced on schedule at Polling unit 001, 10, Central Ward, Bwari Area Council on Saturday as residents turned out to participate in the Federal Capital Territory Area Council elections.

The exercise began at exactly 9:00 a.m. after electoral officials concluded the pasting of the voter register and party agents completed verification of details on the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System.

INEC officials arrived earlier and were seen setting up materials before accreditation and voting began. Security personnel are present at the venue, and the atmosphere remains calm.
