Former chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has announced his resignation from the ruling party, citing deep dissatisfaction with its leadership and direction.
Eze said his decision followed extensive consultations with family and associates, pointing to what he described as poor governance, worsening economic conditions, and rising insecurity under the administration of Bola Tinubu.
He noted that despite his past efforts in promoting the APC’s ideals, the party has, in his view, failed to deliver on key promises, including economic stability, security, quality education, and improved living standards.
The former APC stalwart also expressed regret for previously encouraging Nigerians to support the party, saying it has lost its core values and democratic principles.
Eze confirmed that he has now joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC), where he intends to work with like-minded individuals to promote what he described as genuine democratic ideals.
He further apologized to Nigerians, stating that the current state of the nation does not reflect the promises once made by the APC, and called for collective efforts to restore the country’s democratic integrity and overall development.
