Mummy G.O Returns: Rasheedat Ajibade Fires PSG to Cup Final

David Egbede, February 16, 2026February 16, 2026

Nigeria’s Super Falcons captain, Rasheedat Ajibade, announced her return in the loudest way possible, with a goal that sealed Paris Saint-Germain Feminine’s place in the cup final after a commanding 3–0 semi-final victory over Paris FC.

Introduced from the bench, Ajibade struck in the 89th minute to put the result beyond doubt, her second goal in PSG colours and perhaps her most symbolic yet. After months on the sidelines, Ajiade, who recently modelled her club’s new kits, didn’t just return, she finished the job. Izuchukwu Akawor • 15:04 – 15.02.2026
The anointing has landed in Paris.

Moments after the final whistle, Ajibade took to X with a simple message:

“On to the final.”

After months on the sidelines, Ajiade, who recently modelled her club’s new kits, didn’t just return, she finished the job.

Ajibade’s momentum had been cruelly interrupted on November 20, 2025, during a UEFA Women’s Champions League clash against FC Bayern Munich Frauen.

That night, she had already provided an assist before sustaining the injury that ruled her out for weeks. It was a painful halt for a player just beginning to stamp her authority in Europe.
