Ashleigh Plumptre has started her rehabilitation after undergoing successful surgery on her left foot.
The defender had the operation last weekend following the injury setback.
Her Saudi club, Al-Ittihad Ladies, confirmed the development, announcing the Super Falcons star’s surgery.
Plumptre is now expected to be out of action for several months as she continues her recovery.
This marks the second major injury she has suffered since joining Al-Ittihad.
The 27-year-old was previously sidelined for about six months in 2024 due to injury.
