Hundreds of angry residents in Plateau State flooded the streets early Monday, defying a government-imposed curfew to protest the deadly Palm Sunday attack that left several people dead in Jos North Local Government Area.
The protest started at the scene of the killings in Anguwan Rukuba and was broadcast live on TikTok, with reports indicating it began as early as 9 a.m.

Demonstrators, visibly upset, were heard chanting and calling for swift government intervention, arguing that a curfew alone cannot stop the recurring violence.
The livestream also showed Plateau State Governor, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, arriving at the protest venue.
