The 98th Academy Awards were held on March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre, honoring the best films of 2025.
Hosted for the second year in a row by Conan O’Brien, the ceremony ran for about three hours and 45 minutes, airing on ABC and streaming on Hulu.
This year’s Oscars featured a garden courtyard–inspired stage, live performances including “I Lied To You” from Sinners, a tribute by Barbra Streisand to Robert Redford, and the customary In Memoriam segment. Security measures were reportedly heightened due to external threats.
The evening was largely dominated by two Warner Bros. films, One Battle After Another and Sinners, which had been major contenders throughout the awards season.
