NPFL: Nasarawa United Receive Cash Bonus After Victory Over Ikorodu City

Players of Nasarawa United received ₦500,000 as a reward for their home victory against Ikorodu City.

The donation was made by Nasarawa State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Kwanta Yakubu, following the closely contested match at Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

Bright Amadi sealed the win with a decisive goal seven minutes from time.

Yakubu said the gesture is to motivate the players ahead of subsequent games.

The win lifted Nasarawa United to third position on the table.

Mbwas Mangut’s side will travel to Ikenne for their next game against defending champions Remo Stars.
