The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, disciplinary committee has suspended a referee, Terwase Chia, for the rest of the 2025-26 Nigeria National League, NNL, season.
Chia was accused of exhibiting unprofessional conduct in the clash involving Gombe United and Jigawa Golden Stars.
Meanwhile, Gombe United was also found guilty of fans encroachment and received a fine of N1 million.
Jigawa Golden Stars also received a fine of N500, 000 for their refusal to continue the game.
The NFF committee considered conclusive with the result of the game standing at goalless.
The committee avail both teams the right to appeal the decision.
