In the battle for Champions League qualification, Joao Pedro scored a hat-trick as Chelsea came from behind to thrash Aston Villa 4-1, dropping Liverpool to sixth place in the Premier League.
Douglas Luiz gave Villa an early lead in the second minute, but Pedro equalised in the 35th minute, marking his 12th league goal of the season. Just before half-time, the Brazilian added a second with a clever lob over the goalkeeper.

In the second half, Cole Palmer made it 3-1 before Pedro completed his treble by tapping home a cross from Alejandro Garnacho, sealing a commanding victory at Villa Park.
The win lifted Chelsea to fifth place, three points behind fourth-placed Villa, with the top five clubs likely to secure Champions League spots this season.
Meanwhile, West Ham edged Fulham 1-0 thanks to Crysencio Summerville, moving level with Nottingham Forest on 28 points, just a point behind Tottenham, who face Crystal Palace on Thursday.
