Troops of the Joint Task Force operating under Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have intercepted two trucks loaded with suspected terrorist logistics along the Maiduguri–Mafa Road in Borno State.

Military sources disclosed that the operation resulted in the arrest of 16 suspected logistics suppliers believed to be supporting terrorist activities in the region.

Items recovered from the trucks were said to include materials suspected to be en route to insurgents operating in the North-East.

The suspects are currently in custody undergoing preliminary investigation, while the seized items have been secured by the military.

The operation forms part of ongoing efforts by Operation HADIN KAI to dismantle terrorist supply networks and restore peace across the North-East region of Nigeria.
