Governor Nasir Idris has expressed confidence that Kebbi State will support Bola Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking to journalists after a stakeholders’ meeting in Birnin Kebbi, the governor said the gathering focused on strengthening the party and addressing internal matters ahead of future polls.

“This is a stakeholders’ meeting; we have met and discussed issues that directly affect our party,” Idris said, noting that further details would be shared by the state Commissioner for Information.

He reaffirmed the strength of the All Progressives Congress in the state, adding that residents remain loyal and committed to the party’s continued success at both state and national levels.

The meeting reportedly had in attendance key political figures, including Atiku Bagudu, Yusuf Tanko-Sununu, as well as Senators Adamu Aliero and Yahaya Abdullahi, among other party stakeholders.
