FRSC Deploys 275 Personnel for Soludo’s Second-Term Inauguration

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Anambra State Command, has deployed 275 officers  ahead of the second-term inauguration of Gov. Chukwuma Soludo and his Deputy, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim, scheduled for March 17.

The Sector Commander, Mrs Bridget Asekhauno, disclosed this while addressing officers and men of the command in Awka on Sunday.

Asekhauno said that the personnel were deployed alongside 29 operational vehicles, including motorcycles, ambulances and tow trucks, across the state to ensure effective traffic management and safety during the event.

She urged the officers to exhibit a high level of discipline and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.

“The command, in collaboration with other security agencies, has intensified traffic control measures and public sensitisation efforts to ensure peaceful and hitch-free vehicular movement during and after the event.

“A total of 275 officers and men, along with 29 vehicles, including bikes, ambulances and tow trucks, have been deployed across the state,” she said.

Asekhauno appealed to residents, stakeholders and visitors to remain law-abiding and cooperate with security personnel to ensure the safety of dignitaries and members of the public.

She reiterated the command’s commitment to providing adequate safety measures to ensure that the inauguration ceremony was conducted in a peaceful and secure atmosphere.
