FG Says National Honours, Housing Documents, and $100,000 Reward For D’Tigress Are on the Way

The Federal Government has assured members of Nigeria’s women’s basketball team, Nigeria women’s national basketball team, that the rewards promised by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will soon be delivered.

Director General of the National Sports Commission, Bukola Olopade, gave the assurance while addressing the team in France on Sunday.

Olopade told the players that their national honours, housing documents, and the $100,000 cash reward promised by the President are currently being processed and will soon be presented to them.

He praised the team for their achievements and for continuing to make Nigeria proud on the international stage, noting that the Federal Government remains committed to rewarding excellence in sports.

The assurance comes amid anticipation from the players and supporters over the fulfilment of the incentives announced by the President following the team’s recent successes.
