Nigeria international Victor Osimhen found the net as Galatasaray secured a 3–0 victory over Istanbul Başakşehir at RAMs Park on Saturday.
Ivory Coast defender Wilfried Singo opened the scoring for the hosts in the 57th minute. Osimhen extended Galatasaray’s lead nine minutes later with a well-taken goal.
The Nigerian striker was later substituted for Mauro Icardi with 15 minutes remaining in the match.
Osimhen has now recorded 19 goals and five assists in 28 appearances across all competitions this season.
Substitute Renato Nhaga sealed the win for Galatasaray with a late goal six minutes before the final whistle.
