Iran has vowed to make Donald Trump pay for the killing of its Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The Islamic Republic made the threat in a post on X on Saturday, about a week after Khamenei was reportedly killed in an airstrike carried out by the United States and its ally.
Iranian officials warned that the attack would not go unanswered and insisted those responsible would face consequences.
“We will punish Trump for assassinating Supreme Leader Khamenei. We will never let him go,” it vowed.
Recall that since the war broke out on February 28, many Iranians have been killed and six US soldiers have also been killed.
