David Egbede, March 2, 2026March 2, 2026

Kuwait’s Ministry of Defence has confirmed that multiple U.S. military aircraft crashed in the country on Monday.

The announcement was reported by the Kuwait News Agency on X, citing a statement from the Defence Ministry.

According to the statement, all personnel on board the aircraft survived, and Kuwaiti authorities are providing support for rescue and response efforts.

“Ministry of Defense announces that several #US military aircraft crashed earlier in the day, confirming that all crew members survived the incident,” the post stated.

The exact number of aircraft involved and the cause of the crashes were not immediately disclosed.

The incident comes a day after Iran reportedly struck a US military base in Kuwait in retaliation for joint airstrikes carried out by Israel and the United States on Iranian targets.

Other countries said to have been affected by Iranian missile attacks targeting US bases and facilities in the region include Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
