The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gboko Local Government Area of Benue State, Terfa Iorgiilim, has reaffirmed his support for the second-term ambition of Governor Hyacinth Alia. He made this known during a reception held in honour of the Mbavarakaa people of Mbatiav in Gboko, which attracted party members, community leaders and supporters.
Iorgiilim said the governor’s re-election bid enjoys strong grassroots support, particularly among the Mbavarakaa people, describing it as a collective community project. According to him, Alia’s second term aspiration is already a settled matter, stressing that the people are united in ensuring his return to office.
He commended Governor Alia’s leadership and development efforts in the state, citing improvements in governance and service delivery. The APC chairman urged residents and party faithful to remain united and continue supporting the administration to sustain development across Benue State.
