Media entrepreneur Dele Momodu has expressed support for a potential presidential ticket featuring Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing it as a strong and strategic combination ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking on Politics Today on Channels Television, Momodu noted that both politicians previously ran together in 2019, adding that their existing political chemistry and shared support base could boost their chances at the polls.
He also pointed out that Obi’s performance in the last election positions him well to retain and expand his supporters, while Atiku’s experience adds weight to the ticket.
Momodu further claimed that the growing alignment of prominent opposition figures within the ADC is causing unease within the All Progressives Congress (APC), suggesting that the ruling party is increasingly concerned about a united opposition front.
