Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Wednesday participated in the “Fostering the Future Together” summit hosted by Melania Trump at the White House.
The high-level gathering brought together about 45 first ladies, including Brigitte Macron, to discuss expanding access to education and safeguarding children in an increasingly digital world.
A major highlight of the summit was the unveiling of an American-developed humanoid system, “Figure 3,” marking a rare diplomatic introduction of advanced AI technology to global leaders.
Speaking at the event, Melania Trump emphasised the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence, noting that it is gradually transitioning from mobile devices to human-like systems capable of delivering real-world functions.
She urged participating nations to collaborate on practical initiatives that will equip young people with relevant digital skills, stressing that such investments are crucial to preparing future generations for a tech-driven world.
Representatives from nine countries, including the United States, France, Poland, the UAE, and Morocco, also shared their national strategies for integrating technology into education systems.
