Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Releases 2026 UTME Exam Alips

David Egbede, April 9, 2026

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the release of notification slips for candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

In a statement issued in Abuja by its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, the board confirmed that the examination will begin on April 16.

Candidates are advised to visit the official JAMB portal and print their slips to check their exam date, time, and venue.

The board also urged candidates to do this early and familiarize themselves with their assigned centres to avoid last-minute issues.

JAMB emphasized that each candidate has a specific schedule and should arrive early at their centres for proper screening and accreditation.

The board further disclosed that tighter security measures have been introduced for the 2026 UTME to curb examination malpractice, warning that anyone found guilty of misconduct will face strict penalties.
