Governor Abdullahi Sule has officially introduced Senator Aliyu Wadada to President Bola Tinubu as his preferred successor and consensus governorship candidate of the APC in Nasarawa State.
The presentation took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Friday, following Sule’s earlier endorsement of Wadada for the 2027 governorship race.
Sule explained that the decision came after over a year of extensive consultations with key stakeholders, including investors, youth and women groups, traditional rulers, party leaders, and members of his cabinet across the state’s three senatorial districts.
He noted that the selection process was thorough and inclusive, aimed at ensuring continuity and stability in the state’s leadership.
