Inter Lagos have secured promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League after a crucial 1-1 draw against Smart City on Monday.
The result confirmed their place in the top flight, with the team currently leading the Nigeria National League Conference A table on 29 points from 15 matches.
They become the second side to earn promotion this season, following Doma United’s earlier qualification.
This marks a historic achievement for Inter Lagos, who will feature in the NPFL for the very first time next season, while two more promotion spots remain up for grabs as the NNL campaign continues.
