Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Saturday visited former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, at his residence in Abuja to offer condolences over the death of his mother.
El-Rufai’s mother passed away on Friday after battling age-related health issues. The former governor had been released from the custody of the ICPC shortly after news of her death emerged.
Since his return, El-Rufai has received several high-profile visitors, including former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, ex-AGF Abubakar Malami, and other prominent opposition figures.
