The Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation has announced the closure of all access roads leading to and around the Federal Secretariat Complex, Phases I, II, and III, from Friday, March 27 to Saturday, March 28, 2026.
The closure is to facilitate the use of Eagle Square for the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention, scheduled to hold over the two days.
According to a circular signed by Dr. Abdul S. U. Garba, Permanent Secretaries, Heads of Agencies, and all personnel whose offices are located within the Federal Secretariat Complex, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, are instructed to work from home on Friday, March 27.
The circular further urged all heads of agencies and ministries to inform their staff about the road closures and ensure strict compliance with the directive.
The directive affects government employees across Phases I, II, and III of the Federal Secretariat and is intended to ensure security and smooth proceedings during the APC National Convention at Eagle Square.
