Hon. Kolawole Babatunde has been elected as the new Chairman of the Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the party’s state congress held in Akure, the state capital on Tuesday.
His election, along with the 36-member State Executive Committee (EXCO), was achieved by consensus.
Babatunde, who represented Akoko South East/South West Constituency in the House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019, previously served as Special Adviser to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on Party Affairs and Legislative Matters.
The election marks a new chapter for the Ondo APC, with party leaders expressing optimism about a unified and strengthened state structure under his leadership.
