Bodo/Glimt have delivered one of the greatest shocks in Champions League history by knocking out Italian giants Inter Milan on Tuesday.
The diminutive Norwegian side secured a spectacular 2-1 victory at the San Siro, sealing a 5-2 aggregate win in the play-offs and booking their place in the round of 16.
This remarkable result makes Bodo/Glimt the first Norwegian team ever to win a Champions League knockout tie.
In their maiden season in Europe’s premier club competition, Bodo/Glimt have consistently defied expectations, having already secured wins against Manchester City and Atlético Madrid during the league phase.
However, their two-legged triumph over last year’s beaten finalists, Inter, represents their most significant achievement to date.
