FCT Polls: Low Voter Turnout Reported at Model Primary School, Kubwa 3, Usuman Ward

David Egbede, February 21, 2026February 21, 2026

Voter turnout at Model Primary School, Kubwa 3, Usuman Ward has been reported as low across its four polling units during the ongoing FCT Area Council elections.

RBN correspondent reported that Polling Unit 006, which has 750 registered voters, officials were unable to provide an exact figure of those who had voted, amid reports of earlier polling unit misplacement.

In Polling Unit 034, fewer than 40 of the 527 registered voters had participated as of the time of reporting, while Polling Unit 036 recorded only 39 accredited voters out of 564 registered.

Some residents suggested that confusion over polling arrangements may be affecting participation, even as the electoral process continues.

Observers note that efforts are ongoing to ensure voters can access the correct polling units and cast their ballots.
