Super Falcons Rise to 36th in Latest FIFA Women’s Rankings

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have climbed one place to 36th in the latest FIFA Women’s World Rankings released on Tuesday.

The African champions moved up from 37th position and remain the highest-ranked team on the continent under head coach Justine Madugu.

On the African standings, Banyana Banyana, Black Queens, Atlas Lionesses, and Copper Queens make up the top five behind Nigeria.

Globally, Spain retained the number one spot, followed by the United States, England, Germany, and Japan.

The next FIFA Women’s World Rankings update is scheduled for June 16, 2026.
