Super Eagles Confirm Death of Former Striker Michael Eneramo

Nigeria’s national football team has confirmed the death of former striker Michael Eneramo.

Eneramo reportedly collapsed and died during a training session on Friday morning in Kaduna. Despite efforts to revive him, the 40-year-old was pronounced dead.

He made 10 appearances for the Super Eagles, scoring three goals.

In a post on its official X handle, the team wrote: “Rest in peace Michael.”

Eneramo began his professional career with Nigeria Premier Football League side Lobi Stars before moving to Tunisia, where he featured for Espérance Sportive de Tunis.

He later spent most of his career in Turkey, playing for clubs including Sivasspor, Beşiktaş, Karabükspor, Istanbul Başakşehir, and Manisaspor.
