Troops of Operation HADIN KAI successfully repelled coordinated attacks by the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in Limankara and Kukawa areas of Borno State on Saturday, forcing the terrorists to retreat after fierce firefights supported by precision air strikes from the Nigerian Air Force.
During the engagements, one soldier was killed in action, while wounded personnel were evacuated and are reported to be in stable condition.

In a separate intelligence-led raid in Lamusheri, Gujba Local Government Area, troops neutralised 15 terrorists and destroyed several logistics structures.
The operation also resulted in the burning of five tricycles and two vehicles, while arms, ammunition, and communication equipment were recovered.

Air strikes further destroyed a gun truck and five motorcycles, killing over 14 ISWAP fighters and seizing 13 AK-47 rifles, magazines, and radios.
The coordinated operations demonstrate the continued efforts of Operation HADIN KAI to degrade terrorist capabilities in the northeast, securing local communities while maintaining pressure on insurgent elements.
