Prominent opposition figures including Rotimi Amaechi, Peter Obi, and Aisha Yesufu on Wednesday joined ADC supporters in Abuja for the “Save Democracy” protest, gathering at the INEC headquarters to demand transparency and protection of democratic institutions amid the party’s ongoing leadership dispute.
Other notable figures at the protest included Dino Melaye, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Omoyele Sowore, and Nasir El-Rufai’s allies, alongside members of the Obidient Movement led by Yunusa Tanko, as a growing crowd of supporters marched toward the electoral commission’s office.
