Akor Adams has reacted to Sevilla FC’s hard-earned 2-1 victory over Atletico Madrid in their La Liga clash on Saturday night.
Sevilla secured the win at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan, with Adams opening the scoring from the penalty spot.
The visitors drew level through Javier Bonar in the 35th minute, but captain Nemanja Gudelj later netted the decisive goal to seal all three points.
Speaking after the match, Adams praised the team’s effort and the fans’ support.
“We gave 100% and achieved our objective, which was the three points. The fans’ support was incredible; it gave us great energy. We play for them, and if we’re all like this, we’ll be happy every week.”
The victory lifts Sevilla out of the relegation zone, providing a timely boost in their fight for survival.
