The Benue State Government has confirmed the death of its Head of Service, Agbogbo Ode.
According to an official statement issued on Saturday by the Secretary to the State Government, Serumun Deborah, Ode died after a brief illness.
He was described as a seasoned technocrat and a highly respected figure in the public service, whose passing is a major loss to the state.
The government noted that he was known for his integrity, dedication, and significant contributions to strengthening the Benue State Civil Service.
During his time in office, Ode was credited with promoting professionalism, efficiency, and institutional growth.
The state government extended its condolences to his family, colleagues, and the entire civil service, praying for the peaceful repose of his soul.
