David Egbede, April 6, 2026April 6, 2026

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have vowed to retaliate following the killing of their intelligence chief, Major General Majid Khademi, in an Israeli strike on Monday.

In a statement released via Sepah News, the Guards warned that those responsible should expect a strong response.

“The malicious and desperate enemy should know that a major retaliatory strike by the IRGC Intelligence Organisation, under Operation ‘Crushing Revenge,’ awaits the planners and perpetrators of this crime,” the statement read.

The threat signals rising tensions between both sides, as Iran promises a decisive response to the attack on one of its top intelligence officials.
