The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday received delegates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Rivers State at his residence in Abuja.
Among those in attendance were the newly reinstated APC National Vice Chairman (South-South), Victor Giadom, as well as senators, members of the House of Representatives, and lawmakers from the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Other prominent APC leaders from the state were also present at the meeting.
The gathering comes just days after the APC South-South Zonal Congress held on Wednesday in Asaba, Delta State.
At the congress, Giadom was re-elected as National Vice Chairman (South-South), while Samuel Nwanosike emerged as the South-South Zonal Publicity Secretary.
