President Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos early Friday morning following a historic two-day visit to the United Kingdom.
Later in the day, he will join fellow Muslim faithful to mark the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
The President, accompanied by his wife, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, touched down at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, at 1:15 a.m.
He was warmly received on the tarmac by Lagos State Deputy Governor Femi Hamzat, the President’s Chief of Staff Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Governor’s wife Dr. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, and leading APC members.
As part of his Eid activities in Lagos, President Tinubu is scheduled to lead prayers at the Eid prayer ground of Dodan Barracks on Friday morning.
In his Sallah message, the President urged Nigerian Muslims to recommit themselves to the core values of the holy month.
