David Egbede, March 6, 2026March 6, 2026

Armed bandits reportedly attacked Dangani town in Musawa Local Government Area on Friday afternoon, looting shops and making away with residents’ valuables.

The incident was highlighted by security analyst Bakatsine in a post shared on X.

He noted that the assailants struck the community shortly before the Juma’at prayer.

“This afternoon before Juma’at prayer, bandits stormed Dangani town in Musawa LGA of Katsina State, looting phones, cash, fuel, fabrics and other goods from residents and local shops,” he wrote.

He added that the attackers seized the day’s earnings of traders and other valuable property belonging to residents despite the ongoing Ramadan fasting period.

“How long will communities continue to face such attacks without stronger security protection?” he asked.
