Peller Buys Jarvis Mercedes GLE, Sets Record Straight on Mum’s ₦20m Car

David Egbede, March 2, 2026March 3, 2026

Nigerian content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, gifted his girlfriend, Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, known as Jarvis, a brand-new Mercedes GLE as part of her birthday celebration on Sunday.

Videos shared online captured the moment the luxury SUV was presented to Jarvis, with Peller captioning one of the clips: “I’m very happy to do this. I love you my sweet baby.”

The birthday surprise, however, quickly sparked comparisons on social media, with some users questioning the perceived disparity between the new vehicle and the car previously purchased for his mother.

In response to a critic who claimed he bought a ₦78 million car for Jarvis and a ₦15 million car for his mum, Peller clarified that his mother had originally requested a ₦9 million Toyota. According to him, he chose instead to buy her a ₦20 million vehicle at the time.

He further pushed back at the criticism, asking what the commenter had done for his own parents before dismissing him as a “broke guy.”

While Peller did not publicly disclose the exact cost of the Mercedes GLE gifted to Jarvis, several social media users have speculated that certain models of the SUV could be valued in the nine-figure range, depending on specifications.

Jarvis — a 23-year-old influencer and graduate of Mass Communication known for her AI-themed, “robotic” content persona, has been a central figure in Peller’s online narrative, collaborating on creative skits and livestreams that helped build both of their profiles.

The grand gesture also follows a period of intense public interest in their relationship. The couple, who previously announced a breakup in late 2025 after a widely shared emotional livestream, reconciled earlier this year, a turn that reignited fans’ enthusiasm and debates about love, fame, and digital relationships in the content creation space.

Reactions online have been mixed, with some applauding the move as “romantic” and “next-level love,” while others pointed to broader questions about priorities, fame, and wealth among Gen-Z influencers.
