The Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, on Wednesday received Saudi Ambassador to Nigeria, Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Balawi, and his delegation at the Federal Ministry of Information.
The meeting focused on deepening bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, Nigeria reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with Saudi Arabia across media, communication, economic, and security sectors for mutual national benefit.
In his remarks, Ambassador Al-Balawi expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reiterated Saudi Arabia’s readiness to expand partnership in strategic areas. He also pledged continued support for Nigerian pilgrims traveling to the Kingdom.
The meeting highlights ongoing efforts to enhance diplomatic and economic ties between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, reflecting shared interests in development, security, and people-to-people relations.
