The former heavyweight boxing champion recently honoured his late friends by having their names permanently inked on his bicep.
In an emotional gesture of remembrance, Anthony Joshua unveiled a poignant new tattoo dedicated to two close companions who lost their lives in a car crash while on a trip to Nigeria.

The British-Nigerian boxing star inscribed the names “LATZ” and “SINA” beneath the outline of Africa on his right arm—a subtle but powerful tribute.

The design commemorates Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele, his personal trainer, and Sina Ghami, his strength and conditioning coach, who tragically died in the December accident. Joshua mourned the loss of his close friends, through several public tributes and deeply personal actions following the tragic accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

The tattoo, done at Fulham Tattoo London, joins Joshua’s collection of meaningful body art, including biblical quotes and family symbols.
