The 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, is currently in a closed-door meeting with Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
The meeting is taking place at the Oyo State Government House, with Obi arriving alongside a delegation that includes Igbo elders, members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), South-East senators, and other political allies.
While no official statement has been released yet, the meeting is believed to be connected to Obi’s political consultations ahead of the 2027 presidential race.
This development comes less than 24 hours after Obi met with former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, as part of his ongoing engagements with key political figures across the country in preparation for the ADC primary election.
