McPherson University, Ajebo, Ogun State, has secured full accreditation from the National Universities Commission (National Universities Commission) for 10 undergraduate programmes following the commission’s October/November 2025 accreditation exercise.

The university confirmed the development in a statement on Monday issued by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Tokunbo Olakunle, who said the approval was conveyed in an official letter signed by the Director of Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the commission.

According to the statement, the accreditation followed a comprehensive evaluation by NUC assessment teams during visits to the institution in October and November 2025.

Olakunle listed the newly accredited programmes as Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Public Health, History and Diplomatic Studies, Information Technology, Law, Biotechnology, and Economics. He added that the accreditation is valid for a period of five years.

“The approval was conveyed in a letter signed by the Director of Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Commission,” Olakunle said.

He added that the exercise involved rigorous assessments of academic standards, facilities, staffing, and programme delivery across the affected departments.
