Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the National Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, following his recent defection to the ruling party.
Fintiri was received by the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, alongside members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
During the visit, the governor pledged his full loyalty to the APC, describing his decision to join the party as one guided by his commitment to deliver electoral value in the forthcoming general elections.
He also expressed strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, stating that the President merits a second term in office based on the outcomes of ongoing economic and sectoral reforms.
Fintiri’s visit marks his first official appearance at the party’s national headquarters since formally aligning with the APC, a move that has reshaped the political landscape in Adamawa State.
