Head coach of the Brazil national football team, Carlo Ancelotti, has outlined two key factors his side must have to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ancelotti made this known during his pre-match press conference ahead of Brazil’s international friendly against Croatia at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
The Italian tactician stressed that a blend of attacking talent and defensive solidity will be crucial if Brazil is to lift the trophy.
“Of course, we are prepared. Brazil’s last two titles (1994 and 2002) were based on the perfect combination of talent and defense,” Ancelotti said.
“History makes it very clear: if Brazil wants to win, it must have talent – we have it, and also have a good defense. There is no other way. I do not agree with playing only attacking football.”
Brazil will compete in Group C at the World Cup alongside Scotland, Haiti, and Morocco.
