Former Kaduna Central senator, Shehu Sani, has sparked fresh political reactions after accusing members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) of contributing to Nigeria’s past challenges.
Speaking during a podcast appearance on Mic On with the Independent Mind, hosted by Seun Okinbaloye, Sani alleged that many individuals now associated with the ADC were responsible for the country’s difficulties between 1999 and 2015.
In the viral clip circulating online, he said, “If you are looking for people who destroyed this country from 1999 to 2015, they are in the ADC.”
He further suggested that the same group of political actors continues to reappear under different platforms over the years, extending his criticism to other periods of governance as well.
The remarks, made during the Abuja-based podcast, have since generated widespread debate on social media, with supporters backing his claims on political accountability, while critics argue that Nigeria’s challenges cut across multiple parties and administrations.
