Six Health Workers Abducted in Ondo Midnight Attack

At least six health workers were reportedly kidnapped during a late-night raid on a health centre in the Oke Ijebu area of Akure, Ondo State.

Eyewitnesses said the attackers arrived around 2:00 a.m. in a bus and forcibly entered the facility opposite Mega School.

They reportedly rounded up all staff on duty, including interns, and took them away in the vehicle to an unknown location.

Patients present at the time were unharmed but left traumatized by the incident.

Local residents expressed alarm and called for urgent action from security agencies to ensure the safe release of the abducted workers and to prevent further attacks.

As of this report, authorities have not released an official statement regarding the incident.
